My Story
Behind the Words
In 4th grade, in my diary, I wrote “I want to grow up to be a Country music DJ and a singer”, and somehow, that happened. Singing in front of an audience by my mid-teens and getting my first paying radio job at age 21.
Creativity flows out of my brain at such a pace that I have to schedule times for all my hobbies and interests.
I am thankful I was blessed with a great voice and I have done my best to use it for good in my lifetime. Not only can I offer my voice, but through the other creative avenues, you will find the arts, theater, a novel or two, my podcasts and even a few words about nutrition and fitness.
Thanks for visiting- be blessed!

My husband's cancer journey has not only made us stronger but has provided a platform for us to tell our story. In our book 12 Years After 7 Months to Live, Charlie and I take you along with us on an amazing journey of fear, faith, joy and love. Together we have developed special event programming for churches and support groups through speaking engagements and small group study through coursework entitled, Survivor Sessions.
